General settings control app-wide preferences like theme and locale.

What you’ll see

• Theme — Switch between dark and light mode. Ledgend defaults to dark mode.

• Locale — (If available) Language and currency formatting.

• Demo mode — In Settings → Profile, turn on Scramble amounts and payee names. Amounts and payee names on screen are replaced with plausible fictional values so you can share your screen or record a walkthrough without exposing real numbers. Your real data is still stored as usual; the API responses are unchanged, so demo mode is not a security boundary against someone inspecting network traffic or the page source.

• Use dark mode to reduce eye strain in low light
• Theme preference is saved and applied across sessions
