🏦 Accounts

Accounts is where you connect your bank and manage linked accounts. Ledgend uses UK Open Banking for secure, read-only access to your transactions.

What you’ll see

Accounts tab

  • Linked accounts β€” Bank accounts you’ve connected. Each shows account name, balance, and last sync time.

  • Add account β€” Connect a new bank via Open Banking. You’ll be redirected to your bank to authorise.

  • Disconnect β€” Remove a connection. Your historical transaction data may be retained or removed depending on your preferences.

Connections tab

  • Active connections β€” View and manage your bank connections. A connection can include multiple accounts.

  • Reconnect β€” If a connection expires or is revoked, reconnect to restore sync.

  • 90-day tokens β€” UK Open Banking access tokens (via TrueLayer) expire after 90 days. You’ll need to re-authorise with your bank when prompted. Ledgend will notify you before expiry so you can reconnect without losing sync.

Tips

  • Connect all accounts you use for budgeting
  • Reconnect if you see sync errors or missing transactions
  • Ledgend uses read-only access β€” it cannot move money
  • Watch for 90-day re-authorisation prompts β€” reconnect when notified to keep transactions syncing
